Both the standard and Z51 Stingray models have the same engine while the Corvette Z06 drops a supercharger under the hood. Your choices are between “great” and “best” when they have specs like these:

• 6.2L V8 Engine: This powerplant kicks out 455 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque, paired to a standard seven-speed manual transmission with rev matching.

• 6.2L supercharged V8 Engine: Driver who opt for this powertrain enjoy the output of a staggering 650 hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque when properly paired to the same manual transmission as standard.
