Chevy Announces Two New Design Packages for the 2015 Corvette Stingray

The 2015 Chevy Corvette Stingray is scheduled to arrive at dealership later this year. When it makes its arrival it will be available with two distinct design packages that have been inspired by the look and feel of both of America’s coasts. One is called Atlantic, and the other is called Pacific. You can probably guess which one we are partial to down here in Florida, but they are both stunning. You can’t go wrong driving one of these designs on either coast, or right through the heart of the country. This is what the two packages will features.

Atlantic

The Atlantic design package was inspired by the sleek looks and aerodynamic momentum of private European jets commonly found at luxury vacation destinations. It will be available on Z51-equipped convertibles only in 2LT or 3LT trims. Characteristic details include  a front Z06-style splitter, Shark Gray vents, Chrome Torque wheels with Stingray center caps, and custom luggage area. This car has been inspired by jet setters, and it projects a balance of luxury, accomplishment, and thrills.

Pacific

The Pacific Ocean has a more laid back, sun kissed feel, which is why Chevy was inspired to base the Pacific design package on the drivers who attend weekend track events up and down the West Coast. Like the Atlantic, it will only be available on select trims. The defining features include Satin black full-length racing stripes, a CFZ carbon-fiber ground-effects, red brake calipers, and carbon-fiber interior trim. If the Atlantic look is sleek, then the Pacific look is pure fun. You look at this car, and you can easily imagine racing up the cost of California.
