The 2015 Chevy Colorado MPG Ratings Have Been Released

Efficiency at All Levels

The 2015 Chevy Colorado is available with either a four-cylinder or a V6 engine. You don’t have to opt for less power if you are looking for efficiency, though, because the Colorado saves gas no matter what is under the hood. In a two-wheel drive I-4 with an automatic transmission, you can expect to get 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. With a heavier manual transmission equipped, those numbers dip just slightly to 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

With the V6 engine, the Colorado can get 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway in two-wheel drive models, and 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway in four-wheel drive models. Thanks to those ratings, the 2015 Chevy Colorado now has the honor of getting the best fuel economy of any available V6 pickup.

Power When it Counts

The four-cylinder engine can get 200 hp and 191 lb -ft of torque, while those numbers climb to 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque with the V6 equipped.
