The Interior of the 2014 Camaro Z/28
Crafted for performance, the 2014 Chevy Camaro Z/28 takes the classic muscle car nameplate to a whole new level. We’ve gone over a lot about the different specs that sets the Z/28 apart from standard Camaro models, such as a hand-assembled 505 hp LS7 engine and a TREMEC 6-speed manual gearbox, but we haven’t given the same loving attention to the interior.
An Interior Built With Functionality in Mind
With speed and power come many considerations, not the least to mention driver and passenger comfort. Performance driving seats designed by RECARO keep you and your passenger firmly planted through all the dips and turns that the Z28 takes you through.
A flat bottom steering wheel not only makes slipping in and out of the cabin easier, but it makes your footwork with the pedals more natural. Chevy wanted to make going heel-toe with the clutch as seamless as possible, making it much more difficulty to bump the steering wheel with your knee while shifting. A short throw shifter also makes this movement s quick as possible.
The Z/28 also seems to share many similarities with other Camaro models, such as a similar center console setup and driver’s display. We’re sure that the Z/28 will have media options to match the performance, including hot items such as Bluetooth hands free calling and music streaming. A powerful sound system should also be included.
