2015 Dodge Dart
The 2015 Chevy Cruze has things to offer you won’t find in any other small sedan. It has an intriguing diesel engine option, some exclusive features, and an especially nice cabin. To illustrate just what a stand out it is, we’ve compared it to the 2015 Dodge Dart. Find out how both models performed, and if you’re intrigued by the latest Cruze then check it out in person at Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton, less than an hour away from Tampa.
One of the reasons that drivers have been flocking to the 2015 Chevy Cruze is it offers advanced features without raising the price. The same can’t be said for the Dart.
- Cruze Features: The intro trim comes with Bluetooth connectivity, a six-speaker stereo, and the OnStar telematics system which also doubles as a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Move just one trim level up and you also satellite radio. Any trim can be upgraded with a navigation system, a premium nine-speaker stereo system, and a sunroof.
- Dart Features: The intro Dart trim is comparatively stripped down and offers fewer of the features you will find on the Cruze. Higher level trims have more to offer, but only if you are willing to pay for expensive options packages.
If you are looking for outstanding gas mileage and impressive amounts of torque, the Cruze Diesel is a great choice. The Cruze Diesel is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 264 lb-ft of torque and 46 mpg highway. The Dart is available with a maximum of just 184 lb-ft of torque. Fuel-efficiency is similarly less with top ratings of 41 mpg highway.
The interior of the 2015 Chevy Cruze has been smartly designed to be as comfortable as it is convenient. The Cruze offers ample amounts of head and leg room in both the front and back seats, has a carefully designed cabin that shows off high-quality materials throughout, and features a huge trunk with up to 15.0 cubic feet of space.
The Dart has been criticized for its uncomfortable front seats and for the poor quality of the dashboard display and controls. The trunk also disappoints with just 13.1 cubic feet of available space.
