2015 Chevrolet Malibu
|STARTING AT:Coming Soon|
The 2015 Chevy Malibu Should Deliver Even More Class and Features
For the 2014 Chevy Malibu, the iconic car received upgrades to its list of features, more comfortable front seats, and more legroom in the rear. For 2015, we're expecting even more great additions to the Malibu. Changes will most likely include minor revisions to the tale lights, as well as new standard options on the features list.
Chevy has not said much at this point in time about what their plans are for the 2015 Malibu, but here's what we think may be in store for our customers.
Powertrain and Fuel Economy
Last year, Chevy gave us an increase in fuel economy on the new 2.5L engine. Though we doubt a new engine option will be made available, we're anticipating slight fuel increases for the 2015 model. Chevy also bumped up the torque power on the 2.0L Turbo engine by 14%; we're expecting another increase for next year.
As for features, Chevy may shuffle around the different options a bit among the trim levels. This could mean more features becoming either available or standard on lower trim levels. Regardless of what changes are made, we still anticipate these great features will remain standard:
- Steering-wheel mounted audio controls
- OnStar with six free months of Directions and Connections Plan
- Daytime running lights
- A Stabilitrak Stability Control System
